Terms & Conditions
Last updated July 27, 2026.
These Terms govern use of galent.io and related Galent apps (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Galent is a crypto-native engineering execution platform — not a freelance marketplace. Clients do not hire talent directly. You submit scoped work into a managed execution pipeline.
Who this is for
The Service is aimed at startups, indie founders, crypto-native teams, and small technical teams that need execution bandwidth. You must be 18 or older and able to agree to these Terms.
Accounts
- Keep your login credentials secure
- You are responsible for activity under your account and organization
- We may suspend or remove access that abuses the Service or breaks these Terms
Payments & prepaid balance
- Payments are crypto / stablecoin based (USDC / USDT in practice)
- Work requires a prepaid balance — no credit, no post-pay
- Deposits may be credited manually after we confirm receipt on-chain
- Work may pause when available balance is zero
- Network fees, exchange fees, and blockchain confirmation times are outside Galent's control
How work runs
- You deposit stablecoin and we credit your internal balance
- You submit a task or project
- We validate scope and provide an estimate
- You approve the estimate
- Work moves through execution
- You review delivery and approve (or request revision)
- Balance deduction applies on approval
Approvals & deductions
Nothing is deducted from your prepaid balance for a task unless you explicitly approve that delivered work (or otherwise agree under a flow the product shows you). Estimates and status stay visible in the product.
Revisions
Each task includes up to three revisions within the agreed scope. Work outside the approved scope may need a new estimate.
Refunds & withdrawals
- Unused prepaid balance remains refundable
- Request a withdrawal / refund through the product or by contacting us; we process after verifying ownership and any open work
- Amounts already deducted for approved work are not refundable except where we agree in a dispute
- Refunds go back via crypto to an address you provide; timing depends on chain conditions and operational checks
Acceptable use
You may not use the Service — and you may not submit briefs or request work — for anything unlawful, abusive, or listed below. We may refuse a brief, pause or cancel work, suspend an account, or decline to deliver if we reasonably believe a request falls in a prohibited category. Prepaid balance for refused or cancelled prohibited work remains subject to our refund rules; we are not obligated to perform prohibited work because funds were deposited.
Do not use the Service to:
- Break applicable law, evade sanctions, or launder funds
- Build or support unauthorized hacking, intrusion, or bypass of security systems (including "security research" against systems you do not own or have clear permission to test)
- Build or support phishing, malware, scam tooling, social engineering apps, or other fraud
- Facilitate dark-web markets or other clearly illicit commerce
- Build or operate illegal gambling products or related tooling where prohibited
- Create or support pornography, sexual exploitation, or content involving minors
- Attack, scrape abusively, or disrupt the Galent platform itself
- Upload malware or infringe others' rights
- Misrepresent who you are in a material way
We may also refuse work we reasonably believe creates serious risk of harm, fraud, or regulatory exposure — even if it is not listed above by name.
Intellectual property
- You retain rights in materials you submit (briefs, files, brand assets), and you grant Galent a license to use them as needed to scope, deliver, and support the work
- Subject to these Terms and full payment for the approved work, you own the deliverables we produce specifically for your approved task or project
- Galent retains all rights in the Service itself — including the platform, tooling, templates, processes, and know-how — and in any pre-existing materials we bring that are not created uniquely for you
- You represent that you have the rights to submit the materials you provide and that our use of them to perform the work will not infringe third-party rights
Confidentiality
We treat your briefs, project materials, and non-public business information as confidential. We use them to operate the pipeline (scope, estimate, deliver, support) and do not publish them as marketing case studies or share them publicly without your permission — except where disclosure is needed to run the Service for you, protect the Service, or comply with a lawful request.
You agree not to misuse non-public information you receive about Galent, our operators, or other users through the Service.
No guarantees
The Service is provided as-is. We aim for reliable execution but do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime, specific business outcomes, or that crypto networks will confirm transfers on any timeline. Software and internet systems fail; use them accordingly.
Changes
We may update these Terms. The date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
